Harbour City Bears: Woof in the Woods - Annual Camping Weekend Recap!!
The Harbour City Bears' "Woof in the Woods" camping weekend was an incredible escape from city life, held from Friday, 2nd February to Sunday, 4th February 2024, at the exclusive Dalli’s Campground in the beautiful Capertee Valley.
Friday: BBQ and Movie Night
The adventure began with a classic BBQ dinner under the stars, accompanied by timeless camp movies. Campers relaxed by the fire, enjoyed their favorite drinks, and engaged in lively conversations, setting the perfect tone for the weekend, while enjoying some complimentary samples of the new and exciting BAREBACK Range of silicone lubes.
Saturday: Activities and Pizza Night
Saturday was filled with excitement, featuring a special afternoon event. In the evening, everyone brought their pizza ingredients—both fresh and frozen—and baked them in the wood-fired oven. Campers danced the night away to bear beats and enjoyed beloved Saturday night activities.
Campground Amenities
The campsite offered the perfect blend of convenience and authentic camping, with:
Hot showers and flushing toilets
A fully stocked kitchen with cutlery, pots, pans, and more
BBQ, gas stoves, a microwave, fridges, and a sink
A fire pit with firewood provided
Campers enjoyed warm temperatures throughout the night. Although mobile coverage was unavailable, Wi-Fi kept everyone connected. The campsites were unpowered, and the generator was turned off at night.
Overall, the weekend was an unforgettable experience of outdoor fun and camaraderie. The Harbour City Bears can't wait to welcome everyone back for the next adventure!
